Turning Off the Google Business Suite/Gmail Spam Filter

Using outlook in our work is essential for our productivity, but we are using Google Business Suite for our emails, however Google Business Suite/Gmail spam filter has been catching (only) legitimate email. Setting individual users to "not spam" won't work, because all of this legitimate email is from new clients (people we didn't know).

So to disable the spam filter flow the below steps:

  1. Log into your web email https://gmail.com in your browser.

  2. Click the gear at the top right, choose Settings, then click on Filters and Blocked Addresses.



  3. Click Create a new filter.

  4. Enter is:spam in the Has the words field.



  5. Click Create filter with this search.

  6. Click OK to confirm creating the filter.



  7. Make sure that Never send it to Spam is checked and click Create filter.

  8. Your filter should now look like this:
